Alumnus of the Year: Nancy Cochrane, Class of 1990

Nancy Cochrane, Lincoln Law School Class of 1990, is the most recent recipient of the California District Attorneys Association’s George Williamson Career Achievement Award. This award is the most prestigious award given by CDAA, as it recognizes prosecutors who exemplify the highest standards of the profession in a career focused on trial work, involving the most complex criminal prosecutions.

Nancy is a recognized state and national expert on the subject matter of child sexual and physical abuse. She was recruited nationally as a member of the Child Abuse Prosecution Advisory Committee, for the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys in Washington D.C., which develops and implements training and resources for child abuse professionals nationwide.

She previously received the Brian Hintz Memorial Prosecutor of the Year Award and the Outstanding Victim Service Award. Nancy was an honoree as an Army of Angels Award recipient at the Heroes with Heart Gala for Excellence Supporting Children and Families. This was in recognition of her work on child abuse cases.

Nancy will be honored as Lincoln Law School’s Alumnus of the Year at the school’s May 9, 2020, graduation ceremony.
