Student Resource Center and Library

The Student Resource Center (SRC) compliments Lincoln Law Schools’ curriculum with workshops, skills seminars, study groups and small group and small group tutoring sessions all designed to maximize a students academic success with individualized attention.  The primary focus of the SRC is:  brief writing, test taking, issue spotting, essay writing, time and stress management, and much more.

Also included in the SRC are the following student resources:

Library 

Lincoln Law School provides online access to legal databases, print, and other services for the use of students, alumni, and faculty. Access to the Library is limited to our current students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The SRC staff is available to assist all users.

The School provides students access to Westlaw as well as LexisAdvance for computer-assisted legal research, giving students hands-on experience in state-of-the-art research methods. To access library resources, students should visit the Student Resource Center or contact the Student Resource Center Director at 916-446-1275.

Workshops 

The SRC Director provides a monthly calendar of workshops and activities, which are located in the student portal, Populi.  Workshops and small group may include: black letter law review, exam preparation and review, and much more!

West Academic Study Aids Collection

West Academic Study Aids Collection provides students with 24/7 digital access to hundreds of titles, including outlines, exam prep, career guides, academic success and overviews, which covering virtually every law school course. All students have access to West Academics Study Aids Collection.

Computer Room 

Students and alumni are provided access to desktop computers in the Computer Room.  Each desktop computer is equipped with access tot the student copier and library databases, including WestLaw and  LexisAdvance. The School also provides free WiFi access to all students while at the School.

Printing and Copying

Students and alumni have access to a printer and copier, which is located in the Computer Room of the SRC.  Students and alumni will need to establish a PaperCut account with the Administrative Office before utilizing the printer and copier.

Study Space

The SRC provides ample study space for individuals and small groups.  During examination periods, the SRC hours are extended to provide additional study time.
