Roopen Parekh

Roopen Parekh is an attorney with the firm of Smolich & Smolich and represents injured and disabled individuals in matters involving Social Security Disability/SSI and personal injury claims. In his 10 years with the firm, he has successfully represented countless individuals obtain their Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits from the Social Security Administration. He represents clients from the initial application level through the ALJ hearing, and the Appeals Council. Mr. Parekh also works to represent individuals involving personal injury matters such as motor vehicle accidents, pedestrian accidents, bicycle accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip-and-fall injuries, and uninsured motorist claims, to name a few. He has obtained numerous six figure settlements in the negotiation and litigation process throughout his career.

Mr. Parekh earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice, with a minor in Sociology, from San Jose State University. He then earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento. Mr. Parekh is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) and a member of the Sacramento Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (SOSSCR). In addition, he is a member of the Capital Trial Lawyers Association and Consumer Attorneys of California. He is also a Board Member and Treasurer of the Lincoln Law School Alumni Association.

A resident of Placer County, when he is not in the office or in court fighting for his clients, Mr. Parekh enjoys spending time with his family. Weekends are often spent with his wife, also an attorney, and their two young boys, either building forts, playing Legos, racing Hot Wheels or going on hikes.
