Robert Nelsen is an associate attorney at Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, LLP working tirelessly for the interests of Plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, and products liability matters. Since starting at the firm, Mr. Nelsen has assisted and participated in several significant trials that ultimately resulted in seven and eight figure verdicts for the clients. He has also overseen dozens of six, seven, and eight figure settlements achieved during each stage of litigation.
In the fall of 2013, he co-tried the case of Hackett v. Silva Trucking, et al with Robert Buccola, Steven Campora, Ryan Dostart and Eliot Reiner wherein the jury returned a verdict of $34,921,215.33 (an additional $4,664,330.48 in pre-judgment interest and expert costs were subsequently added to the verdict). This was the largest personal injury verdict in the State of California in 2013 and remains the largest personal injury verdict in Sacramento County.
Mr. Nelsen is a member of several professional associations including Consumer Attorneys of California and Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a Board Member and Membership Chair of the Lincoln Law School Alumni Association.
Born in San Francisco, Mr. Nelsen moved to the Sacramento area at a young age and has been a resident of the Sacramento region ever since. He has been a drummer since the age of ten and takes time to play and watch live music whenever possible. He is also an avid soccer fan.
On March 22, 2014 Robert married his better half, Erika Nelsen.
